Since opening in 2002, Storybook Farm has ministered to thousands of kids in east Alabama and west Georgia. We welcome children experiencing life-threatening illnesses, cognitive and/or social delays, disabilities and personal tragedy. Many of our riders are diagnosed with juvenile diabetes, juvenile arthritis, cancer, autism, cystic fibrosis, muscular dystrophy, cardiovascular problems, lung disease, Down Syndrome, and those enduring grief or have been adopted.

Our programs are designed to enhance the lives of children coping with such hardships. Through equine-assisted activities, along with the help of our volunteers and companion animals, our participants grow mentally, physically and emotionally.

For information about riding or how you can get involved with Storybook Farm, please e-mail us at info@hopeonhorseback.org.
