Harley Davidson Benefit Ride
Sponsored by the Opelika Harley Davidson
Saturday, July 12th
Once upon a time, there were some very special horses who wanted to help some very special children.
So the horses volunteered their backs for riding, their coats for brushing, and their tummies for feeding.
They provided strong legs for children whose muscles were weak, clear eyes for those whose sight was poor, sharp ears for those whose hearing was strained, and above all, unconditional love for those little hearts that have been broken.
Storybook Farm, Inc. provides year-round equine based therapeutic programs serving children ages 2 to 25 years, who are challenged with life-threatening illness, disabilities, and grief. The gentle nature of our horses provides hope and healing.
This specially designed 25 acre facility is located in Opelika, Alabama. Since opening in 2002, hundreds of children from East Central Alabama and West Central Georgia have experienced "Hope on Horseback."
Thanks to generous community support, our therapeutic programs are offered at no charge. As a 501(c) 3 corporation, all donations are tax deductible.
